Grant could help KU create test for communication disabilities

A team led by researchers from the University of Kansas has secured a $1.7 million grant to help create a test for assessing people with communication disorders.

The Lawrence Journal-World reports the group has developed the Communications Complexity Scale, which is intended to determine the communication abilities of people with autism, Down syndrome, deaf-blindness, cerebral palsy and other disabilities.
